Season Tickets are designed to allow your attendees to reuse their same ticket at each of your events throughout the season. This removes the scan restrictions for the multi-date event type options.

For more information about our different event types click here.

Common Use Cases: Selling tickets to a sports season, a concert series, performances, water parks, farms, etc. Instances where attendees will be coming back multiple times using the same ticket.

Getting Started

To get started adding a Season Pass to your page, first click the Pencil icon from the Pages screen to edit your page.

Click the Edit Ticket Information button

Turn On Season Tickets

Next, you'll want to assure you have selected one of the following Event Types:

  • Date-Based Calendar

  • Date-based list

  • Series of Events

NOTE: The Season Pass option won't automatically appear in the ticket levels that are on your page by default. You'll need to first select the right event type and then add a new ticket level in order to see the Season Pass option.

Once you've made the right Event Type selection, scroll down and click the Add Ticket Level button

Now you should see Season Pass as an available ticket type

Customize the ticket's pricing, description, image, etc.

Get Ready to Scan Tickets

When setting up your app key to scan your season passes, you'll want to be sure to set the correct # of scans. For example, if you have 13 events you'd like your season pass holders to be able to attend, you could set the total # of scans to be 13. If you'd like them to be able to attend once per available day, you could set it to be a total of 1 per day.

NOTE: When you set the number of scans per day or a higher number of total # of scans, the season pass holder will not receive the "ticket already has been scanned" error when they return to your event as one-time ticket buyers would.

Require Photo Verification

Optional: Snap a photo of your season pass holders the first time they arrive to your event. This allows you to use a photo verification each time their ticket is scanned in the future. The next time they have their ticket scanned, their photo will appear in the app so your volunteers can verify they are indeed the season pass holder.

Once your setup is complete, season pass ticket holders will be able to be scanned into your events after just one purchase and being issued one ticket.

When scanning a season ticket with the TicketSpice scanning app they will not receive a notification that their ticket has already been scanned.
