In TicketSpice, you can collect important information for each attendee attending your event. When attendee information is enabled, TicketSpice will prompt buyers to enter details for each ticket purchased, ensuring you receive accurate information for every individual guest.
You can choose which fields to collect and whether they are optional or required, such as the attendee’s name, email address, phone number, and more. This makes it easy to gather the details you need for check-in, communication, reporting, and event planning in one place.

Add a Name Field
In TicketSpice, you can easily add a name field to ask ticket buyers to enter the first and last name of the person attending the event. In TicketSpice, the name field is always split into two subfields that ask for the first and last name respectively. This structure is used to ensure clarity in data collection.
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you want to edit
Scroll to the ticket block
Find the ticket level where you want to request information
Click Add a Question if you haven’t added a question yet. If there's already a field on the ticket level, hover over the field and click the green + icon to add a new question
Add the Name field
Customize the Label as desired
Toggle the Required field to Yes or No
Click Advanced Settings if you would like to further customize the field
First Name Placeholder: add placeholder text that appears before attendees enter their first name
Last Name Placeholder: add placeholder text that appears before attendees enter their last name
Require Middle Initial/Name: require attendees to enter a middle initial or middle name
Click Done
Click Save Now in the upper-right corner of your page to save your changes. Click Publish to publish these changes to your live page
Add an Address Field
In TicketSpice, you can easily add an address field to collect the street address, city, state, and ZIP code of the person attending the event.
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you want to edit
Scroll to the ticket block
Find the ticket level where you want to request information
Click Add a Question if you haven’t added a question yet. If there's already a field on the ticket level, hover over the field and click the green + icon to add a new question
Add the Address field
Customize the Label as desired
Toggle the Required field to Yes or No
Click Advanced Settings if you would like to further customize the field
Toggle the International field to Yes if you would like to allow attendees to enter international addresses. If this field is toggled to Yes, enter a default country
Toggle the Collect Suite or Apartment # field to Yes if you would like to collect the suite or apartment number
Address Line 1 Placeholder: add placeholder text that appears before attendees enter their address line #1
Address Line 2 Placeholder: add placeholder text that appears before attendees enter their address line #2
ZIP/Postal Code Placeholder: add placeholder text that appears before attendees enter their postal code
Visibility: this field makes the field invisible on the live page. We only recommend using this option when utilizing our Pre-Fill URL feature. If you are looking to remove an option on the live page, we do not recommend making fields invisible. Click Done
Click Save Now in the upper-right corner of your page to save your changes. Click Publish to publish these changes to your live page
Add an Email Field
TicketSpice makes it easy to collect attendee email addresses on your ticketing page for confirmations, updates, and event communications.
Note: When an email address is collected for each attendee, each attendee will receive their ticket by email after the order is submitted, while the ticket buyer receives a confirmation email containing all purchased tickets.
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you want to edit

Find the ticket level where you want to request information
Click Add a Question if you haven’t added a question yet. If there's already a field on the ticket level, hover over the field and click the green + icon to add a new question
Add the Email field
Customize the Label as desired
Toggle the Required field to Yes or No
Toggle the Double Entry field to Yes if you would like to require attendees to enter their email two times
Click Advanced Settings if you would like to further customize the field
E-mail Placeholder: add placeholder text that appears before attendees enter their email
Ask user to opt-in to further communication: Allow attendees the option to opt-in or opt-out to email communication from your event by toggling this option to Yes. By default, all attendees are automatically opted into future email communication from your event. Attendees can unsubscribe from your email messaging at any time
Opt In Text: enter the opt-in text that appears under the email field (available if you give attendees the option to opt-in or opt-out of email communication)
Opt-In by Default: opt in attendees by default by toggling this option to Yes (available if you give attendees the option to opt-in or opt-out of email communication
BCC on Confirmation: This will send a BCC copy of the confirmation email to the email address entered into this email field.
Click Done
Click Save Now in the upper-right corner of your page to save your changes. Click Publish to publish these changes to your live page
Pro Tip: If your event wants to give attendees the option to opt-in or opt-out of email communication from your event, we recommend also editing the billing email and adding the opt-in option in the billing email field.
If the billing email doesn't give users the option to opt-in to email communication, the billing email will automatically opt in the email communication, even if the attendees opts out of email communication in the email field in the ticket or order section.
Add a Phone Number Field
With TicketSpice, you can include a phone number field to capture the attendee's contact number.
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you want to edit
Scroll to the ticket block
Find the ticket level where you want to request information
Click Add a Question if you haven’t added a question yet. If there's already a field on the ticket level, hover over the field and click the green + icon to add a new question
Add the Phone Number field
Customize the Label as desired
Select the Phone Type
Toggle the SMS Opt-In field to Yes if you would like to give attendees the option to opt-in to receive texts from your event
Toggle the Required field to Yes or No
Click Advanced Settings if you would like to further customize the field
Number Format: select USA if you would like to only allows attendees to enter a US-based phone number. Select International if you would like to allow attendees to enter international phone numbers
Default Country: If International is selected, select the default county your event wants to display
Click Done
Click Save Now in the upper-right corner of your page to save your changes. Click Publish to publish these changes to your live page
Add a Date of Birth Field
With TicketSpice, you can add a date of birth field to collect important age-related details. This is helpful for enforcing age limits or tailoring the event experience based on age group.
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you want to edit

Find the ticket level where you want to request information
Click Add a Question if you haven’t added a question yet. If there's already a field on the ticket level, hover over the field and click the green + icon to add a new question
Add the Date of Birth field
Customize the Label as desired
Toggle the Required field to Yes or No
Click Advanced Settings if you would like to further customize the field
Age Requirements: add an age requirement if you would like to require individuals to be a specific age to submit an order. If individuals attempt to enter a date of birth outside of the date range, users will not be able to submit the order
Click Done
Click Save Now in the upper-right corner of your page to save your changes. Click Publish to publish these changes to your live page
Add a Gender Field
TicketSpice makes it easy to add a gender field to your form, allowing you to collect gender information.
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you want to edit

Add the Gender field

Note: The gender field only includes Male and Female options. If you'd like to offer more gender options, we recommend adding a multiple choice field, and adding any gender options from which you'd like attendees to choose. Click here to learn how to add a Multiple Choice field
Add a T-Shirt Size Field
TicketSpice lets you easily include a t-shirt size field so you can gather sizing details up front and ensure everyone gets the right fit on event day.
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you want to edit
Scroll to the ticket block
Find the ticket level where you want to request information
Click Add a Question if you haven’t added a question yet. If there's already a field on the ticket level, hover over the field and click the green + icon to add a new question
Add the T-Shirt Size field
Customize the Label as desired
Toggle the Required field to Yes or No
Toggle the Financial Options field to Yes or No (this field allows you to add a price for your t-shirt)
Change the Display As text to your desired format
Customize the t-shirt options as desired
Name: displays the size name
Set as Default: sets a specific size as the default size
Limited Supply: limits a specific t-shirt size to only sell a specific number
Click the Add Choice option to add another size, and click the Trash Icon to delete a size option
Click Done
Click Save Now in the upper-right corner of your page to save your changes. Click Publish to publish these changes to your live page
Add a Text Field
A text field allows you to ask attendees a question or gather specific information from them as they complete their order.
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you want to edit
Scroll to the ticket block
Find the ticket level where you want to request information
Click Add a Question if you haven’t added a question yet. If there's already a field on the ticket level, hover over the field and click the green + icon to add a new question
Add the Text Field field
Customize the Label as desired
Toggle the Required field to Yes or No
Select the Response Length you would like
Click Advanced Settings if you would like to further customize the field
Text Field Placeholder: add placeholder text that appears before attendees enter their text
Maximum Allowed Characters: add a maximum amount of characters attendees can enter in the text field
Help Tooltip: add a tooltip to the right of your text field
Default Value: enter a default text value into the field
Invisible: this field makes the field invisible on the live page. We only recommend using this option when utilizing our Pre-Fill URL feature. If you are looking to remove an option on the live page, we do not recommend making fields invisible. Hide on Confirmation: hide the text field on the confirmation page/email
Click Done

Add a Multiple Choice Field
The Multiple Choice field allows you to present attendees with a predefined list of options, making it easy to gather specific details like how they heard about your event. You can customize the field to let attendees select either one option or multiple options, depending on the type of question you are asking.
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you want to edit

Find the ticket level where you want to request information
Click Add a Question if you haven’t added a question yet. If there's already a field on the ticket level, hover over the field and click the green + icon to add a new question
Add the Multiple Choice field
Customize the Label as desired
Toggle the Required field to Yes or No
Toggle the Financial Options field to Yes or No
Adjust the Display As settings
Dropdown shows your multiple choice options as a dropdown. This option only allows attendees to select one option
Radios displays your multiple choice options as radios. This option only allows attendees to select one option
Checkboxes displays your multiple choice options as checkboxes. This option allows attendees to select more than one option
Click Add Choice to add the option(s) from which your attendees can select, and customize as desired
Name: the title of the multiple-choice option
Description: a sub-text on your multiple choice option
Set as Default: this toggle allows you to select a specific multiple choice field by default
Limited Supply: this toggle limits the amount of attendees who can select a specific option

If you need to delete a multiple choice option, click the trash can icon next to the option
Warning: If attendees have already selected a multiple choice option and you later want to remove it from the published page, we strongly advise against deleting the option. Doing so will permanently remove all data from this multiple choice field from reports, including past responses.
Instead of deleting the option, we recommend hiding the field so your attendees data is retained. Click here if you would like to learn how to hide a field in TicketSpice.
Pro Tip: Users can choose to add choices from a list rather than manually adding each choice. Here is how to utilize this feature!
Click Add Choices from List (found next to the Add Choice button)
Add each option, pressing the Enter/Return key after each selection to add each choice to its own line
Add a price (if financial options have been turned on)
Enter the supply (if desired)
Click Generate Choices
Click Advanced Settings if you would like to further customize the field
Show Remaining Supply: if using limited supply, show the number of available spots on the published page
Show Description on Confirmation: show the multiple choice field's description on the confirmation page/email
Enable Tax-Deductible Values (only if financial values are turned on): enter a tax-deductible value for this field. When this option is toggled on, enter the tax-deductible value of your multiple choice options.

Add a Date Field
You can use the date field to prompt attendees to select a date using either a date picker or a dropdown, which is perfect for capturing the current date and more.
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you want to edit

Click Add a Question if you haven’t added a question yet. If there's already a field on the ticket level, hover over the field and click the green + icon to add a new question
Add the Date field

Select whether you would like the date to display as a Date Picker or Dropdown

Add a Checkbox
The checkbox feature is a great option you can add to your TicketSpice page to collect one-click responses, confirmations, or agreements from your attendees.
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you want to edit
Scroll to the ticket block
Find the ticket level where you want to request information
Click Add a Question if you haven’t added a question yet. If there's already a field on the ticket level, hover over the field and click the green + icon to add a new question
Add the Checkbox field
Customize the Label as desired
Add a Description to the field, if desired
Toggle the Required field to Yes or No
Toggle the Checked box to Yes or No depending on whether you would like to checkbox to by default remain checked or unchecked
Toggle the Financial Options field to Yes or No
Click Advanced Settings if you would like to further customize the field
Enable Tax-Deductible Values (only if financial values are turned on): enter a tax-deductible value for this field. When this option is toggled on, enter the tax-deductible value of the checkbox under the Financial Options field
Show Description on Confirmation: show the multiple choice field's description on the confirmation page/email
Toggle the Left Align Checkbox to Yes or No depending on whether you want to align the checkbox on the left-hand side or in the middle of the page
Click Done
Click Save Now in the upper-right corner of your page to save your changes. Click Publish to publish these changes to your live page
Add a Terms or Waiver Field
In TicketSpice, you can require attendees to accept your terms and conditions or sign a waiver. This ensures guests review and acknowledge important information before completing their ticket purchase or attending your event.

Add a Quantity Box Field
The quantity box field lets attendees enter a specific number or amount during the purchasing process. It's ideal for collecting quantities for items on your ticketing page.
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you want to edit

Click Add a Question if you haven’t added a question yet. If there's already a field on the ticket level, hover over the field and click the green + icon to add a new question
Add the Quantity Box field
Customize the Label as desired
Toggle the Required field to Yes or No
Toggle the Financial Options field to Yes or No
Click Advanced Settings if you would like to further customize the field
Quantity Range: this option add a minimum and maximum number attendees can choose
Limited Supply: this toggle limits the amount of orders that can select a specific option
Limit Supply To: add the supply limit
Show Supply: show the total available supply on the published page
Sold Out Notice: display custom text once your quantity box is sold out
Enable Tax-Deductible Values (only if financial values are turned on): enter a tax-deductible value for this field. When this option is toggled on, enter the tax-deductible value of the checkbox under the Financial Options field
Click Done
Click Save Now in the upper-right corner of your page to save your changes. Click Publish to publish these changes to your live page
Add Heading Text
Adding header text is a simple and effective way to add an additional heading to your ticket level.
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you want to edit
Scroll to the ticket block
Find the ticket level where you want to request information
Click Add a Question if you haven’t added a question yet. If there's already a field on the ticket level, hover over the field and click the green + icon to add a new question
Add the Heading Text field
Enter the Text you would like to display
Select the size of the header you would like
Select if you want the header to align to the left, center, or right of the page
Click Done
Click Save Now in the upper-right corner of your page to save your changes. Click Publish to publish these changes to your live page
Add Paragraph Text
Including paragraph text on your ticket level is a great way to add additional information to a ticket level.
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you want to edit
Scroll to the ticket block
Find the ticket level where you want to request information
Click Add a Question if you haven’t added a question yet. If there's already a field on the ticket level, hover over the field and click the green + icon to add a new question
Add the Paragraph Text field
Enter the text you would like in the text box
Format the text with any of the options in the menu bar
Click Done
Click Save Now in the upper-right corner of your page to save your changes. Click Publish to publish these changes to your live page
Add a Line Break
Line breaks are a simple but powerful way to improve the readability of your ticket levels.
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you want to edit

Add the Line Break field
Select the Line Style you would like
Adjust the Height in Pixels of the line, if desired
