Boca wristband printing allows your box office staff to print wristbands on-site directly from the TicketSpice Box Office app. Each wristband includes the attendee's QR code, event name, ticket level, date and time, and attendee name to give you a fast, branded check-in experience.

This article covers how to configure wristband printing in your control panel and how to connect and set up your Boca printer in the Box Office app.

Set Up Wristband Printing

Before printing wristbands on-site, you'll need to enable wristband printing on your TicketSpice page. This tells the system which wristband size to use and gives you a preview of how it will appear.

Note: Wristband design customization is not available at this time. The wristband layout is fixed and will display your event's information automatically.

  • From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you want to edit

  • Hover your mouse over the Onsite tab in the top menu bar

  • Select Label Printing from the dropdown

  • Select the Boca Wristband Printer (Box Office) option

  • Select either the 1 inch or 1.328 inch wristband size to match your physical wristband stock

  • Click Save Now in the upper-right corner of your page to save your changes. Click Publish to publish these changes to your live page

Pro Tip: TicketSpice displays a static preview showing how your wristband will appear, including the placement of the attendee's QR code, event name, ticket level, date and time, and name.

Note: TicketSpice defaults to the 1 inch wristband size. If you are using 1.328 inch wristbands, you must come into this setting and update the size before printing.

Configure the Boca Printer in the Box Office App

Once your page is set up, you'll connect and configure your Boca printer inside the Box Office app.

Pro Tip: Before setting up your Boca printer, make sure your printer is powered on and paired with your Box Office device via Bluetooth. The printer must be connected via Bluetooth to appear in the available printers list.

  • Open the Box Office app and log in

  • Tap the hamburger menu in the top left corner

  • Select Settings

  • Tap Configure Printer

  • Select your Boca printer from the list of available printers

  • Under Printer Model, select the model that matches your device:

    • Lemur One or Lemur S: single-path printer

    • Lemur Two: dual-path printer (allows you to configure paper path one and path two separately)

  • Under Paper Type, select Wristband

  • Enable or disable Auto-Cut based on your preference

  • Tap back to return to the settings menu

  • From the settings menu, select Wristband Printer

  • Choose the correct printer from the dropdown to confirm the connection

Pro Tip: You can use the Test Print option after configuring your printer to verify that wristbands are printing correctly before your event begins.
