There are two ways to go about providing terms, policies, conditions, release of liability, etc. and having ticket buyers or attendees review, acknowledge and sign a with a digital signature.
Terms
The Terms field is where text or a PDF can be uploaded to display your terms and conditions. This field would collect a checkbox acknowledgement by the ticket buyer or a digital signature from them to acknowledge they agree to the stated terms.
The Terms field is design to only capture acknowledgment of the terms from the ticket buyer prior to submitting an order and not from each individual ticket holder. For example, if a ticket buyer purchases their ticket plus three additional tickets for their friends, it would only capture the ticket buyer's acknowledgment and not their friends'.
Waiver
The Waiver field on the other-hand is designed to collect a digital signature from each attendee prior to being issued tickets for the event. Once a waiver is signed, that person's tickets will be generated and emailed in an updated confirmation email.

Attendee experience of Waivers
Here is how Waivers will appear on your ticketing page
Once an order is completed, the notification to sign the waiver will be displayed on the confirmation screen and in the confirmation email. The ticket buyer is given the following options:
Copy a link to the waiver and send to the attendee to complete their own waiver
Text message a link to the waiver to the attendee
Complete their own waiver
Once the waiver has been completed and signed, they will invited to either download a copy of the waiver or to view the tickets.
💡Tip: If you also collect an email field under the ticket level where you are collecting the waiver, the attendee can enter the email address of the other attendees and the request to sign the waiver will be automatically emailed to them when the ticket buyer submits their order.
Waivers on Box Office
When you have waivers enabled on your page and make a sale through the Box Office app, you can invite the attendee to sign the waiver right there through the Box Office app, or send them a link to sign the waiver from their phone. Or, you can even bypass the requirement of the waiver if you are using paper waivers on-site and just check them in.
Here is how it works:
When an order is completed on Box Office that is requiring a waiver to be signed, you will see the "Complete Waivers on This Device" and "Complete Waivers on My Phone" buttons
Complete Waivers on This Device
If you tap "Complete Waivers on This Device" and then tap "Sign Waiver" the attendee(s) can fill out and sign their waivers right there through the Box Office app
Once the waivers are signed the tickets can then be checked in and/or text to the attendee
Complete Waivers From My Phone
If you tap "Complete Waivers From My Phone" a QR code will appear that the attendee can scan with their Phone which will take them to the receipt to sign their waiver
Once the waiver has been signed by the attendee, you can then check them in. They also will be able to access their tickets from their phone
