Use the Report Summary to View Your Ticket Sales, Revenue, and Item Breakdowns

Report Summary gives you a quick overview of total tickets, revenue, ticket level performance, coupon usage, and passed-on fees for a page without needing to run an export

Written by Shaunta

Report Summary gives you a fast, at-a-glance view of how a page is performing. Instead of exporting and calculating your own totals, you can see your overall ticket and revenue statistics, plus a breakdown of what's contributing to those numbers, like ticket levels, additional items, coupons, and any fees passed on to ticket buyers. This article covers how to access Report Summary and what each section shows you.

Overall Statistics

This section provides an at-a-glance summary of your page totals. It calculates your net revenue by subtracting pending payments, canceled revenue, and processing fees (if applicable) from your total order revenue.

Here’s what each row includes:

  • Total Tickets: Revenue from all orders, including tickets and additional items

  • Pending Payment: Revenue that is still awaiting final payment

  • Canceled: Revenue associated with canceled orders

  • Processing and Fees: Processing fees deducted before payout. This row only appears when using Webconnex Payments

  • Total: Your total tickets sold, the percentage of sold tickets that are completed, and your net revenue

Each row in the summary includes the following columns:

  • Count: The number of tickets included in that row

  • % of Total: The percentage of all tickets represented by that row

  • Limit: The ticket limit set on your page, if applicable

  • % of Limit: The percentage of your ticket limit that has been used

  • Remaining Supply: The number of tickets available before the limit is reached

  • Revenue: The revenue associated with that row

Ticket Levels

This section breaks down your page’s performance by ticket level. Each ticket level includes the following columns:

  • Type: The ticket level name

  • Count: The number of tickets sold

  • % of Total: The percentage of all sold tickets represented by this ticket level

  • Limit: The ticket limit set for the ticket level, if applicable

  • % of Limit: The percentage of the ticket limit that has been used

  • Remaining Supply: The number of tickets available before the limit is reached

  • Fee: The fee added to the ticket level, if applicable

  • Revenue: The revenue associated with the ticket level

Pro Tip: The Ticket Level Breakdown includes completed, pending offline, and pending transfer tickets. This field doesn't include canceled tickets or pre-registrations.

Note: If you are using coupons, the ticket level sections shows the total revenue before any coupons are applied.

If you have coupons, any value of all coupons will be shown in a separate section within the Report Summary.

Additional Items

If your page includes additional fields, such as merchandise, this section provides a breakdown of each option within your field. Each option includes the following columns:

  • Type: The name of the option

  • Count: The number of selections made for this option

  • % of Total: The percentage of orders that selected this option

  • Limit: The limit set for the item

  • % of Limit: The percentage of the item's limit that has been used

  • Remaining Supply: The number of items available before the limit is reached

  • Revenue: The revenue associated with the option

Pro Tip: The Report Summary displays a separate section for each quantity box, checkbox, multiple-choice field, gender field, T-shirt field, merchandise field, session field, coupon field, line-item fee field, and membership field on your page.

Coupon Usage

If your page uses coupons, this section provides a breakdown of each coupon that has been redeemed. Each coupon includes the following columns:

  • Type: The coupon name

  • Count: The number of times the coupon has been used

  • % of Total: The percentage of orders that used this coupon

  • Revenue: The total discount applied using the coupon

Processing and Fees Passed On

If you use Webconnex Payments, this section shows the total amount collected from passed-on fees. If Pass on All Fees was enabled for your entire event, this amount should match the Processing and Fees total shown under Overall Statistics.

FAQs

Why don't I see a limit or remaining supply for my ticket levels or fields?

If your page is a date-based page or a Series of Events page, the limit and remaining supply won't display until you select a specific date, event, or time slot from the filter. Since a limit is tied to that specific date or event, it isn't meaningful until you've narrowed the report to one.

Does the Ticket Level Breakdown include canceled tickets?

No. The Ticket Level Breakdown includes completed, pending offline, and pending transfer tickets. It doesn't include canceled tickets or pre-registrations.
