Hard stock tickets allow you to generate or upload unique ticket codes that can be printed and scanned at your event using the TicketSpice scanning app. This is especially useful for events that require physical tickets, such as onsite sales or pre-printed distribution. In this article, we’ll cover how to generate, import, export, and delete hard stock tickets.
Note: Hard stock tickets are available for Standard pages, Series of Event pages, and Date-Based pages. They are not currently supported for Reserved Seating pages.

Generate Hard Stock Ticket Codes
In TicketSpice, you can quickly generate new hard stock ticket codes that can be printed and scanned at your event.
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you want to edit
Hover your mouse over the Onsite tab in the top menu bar
Select Hard Stock from the dropdown
Click Generate Codes
Customize your hard stock codes
Ticket Level: Choose which ticket level these hard stock tickets will be assigned to
Distributor (optional): Track who is distributing these tickets. This information will appear on the main Hard Stock page and in the Hard Stock ticket export
Code Format: Select the format for your ticket codes. Options include numeric (numbers only), hexadecimal (0–9 and A–F), or alphanumeric (letters and numbers)
Static Prefix (optional): Add a prefix to the beginning of every barcode. If left blank, the system will generate fully random codes
Code Length: Set the total number of characters for each ticket code
Number of Codes: Enter how many hard stock tickets to generate. You can create up to 9,999 codes per batch
Click Generate
Pro Tip: After your hard stock tickets are generated, you'll receive an email sharing the results of this generation request, and your barcodes will be available in the Hard Stock list.
Note: You can generate up to 9,999 hard stock tickets per batch. If you need to generate more than 9,999 codes, we recommend generating these codes in multiple batches.
Import Existing Ticket Codes
If you already have ticket codes created outside of TicketSpice, you can import them into the system so they can be successfully scanned using the TicketSpice Scanning App.
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you want to edit
Hover your mouse over the Onsite tab in the top menu bar
Select Hard Stock from the dropdown
Click Import Codes or Import
Customize your hard stock import
Ticket Level: Choose which ticket level these hard stock tickets will be assigned to
Distributor (optional): Track who is distributing these tickets. This information will appear on the main Hard Stock page and in the Hard Stock ticket export
Barcodes: upload a file with your barcodes. Your file must have one code per line, and these codes can only contain letters and numbers. Click here to download a sample hard stock import file
Click Import
Pro Tip: Pro Tip: After your hard stock tickets are uploaded, you'll receive an email sharing the results of this upload request, and your barcodes will be available in the Hard Stock list.
Export Hard Stock Tickets
You can use a Hard Stock export to download your hard stock ticket data.
Pro Tip: To view a full history of scan activity, run a Scan Log report. This report includes all scans completed in the Scanning App, including hard stock tickets.

Hover your mouse over the Onsite tab in the top menu bar
Select Hard Stock from the dropdown
Click Export
Note: The Hard Stock Ticket Export includes the barcode, ticket level, distributor, number of scans, first scan date, last scan date, and last scan device.
Delete Individual Hard Stock Tickets
After creating or importing tickets, you can remove individual hard stock tickets to prevent them from being scanned in the TicketSpice Scanning App
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you want to edit
Hover your mouse over the Onsite tab in the top menu bar
Select Hard Stock from the dropdown
Click the trash can icon next to the hard stock ticket you want to remove, and click Delete Ticket to confirm your choice
Note: Hard stock tickets can only be deleted individually. Right now, there is no option to delete hard stock tickets in bulk.
