TicketSpice has many ways to download information about the status of your in-person event, including summaries of how many total tickets were scanned, the specific tickets that scanned into your event, and more. You can use the TicketSpice Scanning app to get reporting information directly through the app, and use our Reports and Exports to download more information.

Use In-App Reports in the TicketSpice Scanning App

By tapping Reports, you can view ticket scan data such as scan breakdown by ticket level, by scanner, by date (if you have a multi-date event), etc.

Note: If your app key has limited volunteer access, the Reports option will not appear. In this case, only the Scan and Find options will appear on your device.

  • Tap the Reports icon

  • If your event is date-based, tap All Dates, or select today's date

  • If you tapped All Dates and your event has time stamps, tap All Time Slots, or select the time slot you want to view

  • View the number of tickets for that time period, the number of scanned tickets, and the percentage of tickets that have been scanned. You can also view the scanned tickets per ticket level

  • Tap All Devices to see all the devices that have scanned tickets

  • Tap View Scans Over Time to see the scan history over time

Note: If you have a date-based event, the In-App reporting will display scan data for upcoming dates, as well as data from events that took place within the past 7 days.

If you would like to view data from older events, we recommend downloading a report from TicketSpice itself. Click here to learn how to download these reports.

Download Reports about Your TicketSpice Scan Activity from TicketSpice

TicketSpice has several different reports for downloading information about your scan history. If you'd like to run a report to see info such as what ticket levels have been scanned in, how many tickets have been scanned in, how many times tickets have been scanned, and more, you can run an export with this information. Here is how:

Pro Tip: TicketSpice offers a variety of reports to help you track and analyze your scan activity. Each report serves a different purpose, so here’s a quick guide to help you choose the right one based on what you need to see.

  • Scan Summary Report: We recommend using the Scan Summary Report if you are using our Scanning app and want to an overview of all scans from your event. This report provides a detailed breakdown of ticket scans by date, ticket level, and device, providing valuable insights into check-in activity.

  • Tickets Report: If you want to view a summary of how many scans have been used per ticket, we recommend using a Ticket Report to view this information. With this option, you can pull the Entry Scans, Total Scans, First Scan Date, Last Scan Date, and Last Scan Device for each of your tickets.

Download a Scan Summary Report

  • To pull a Scan Summary Report, hover your mouse over the Reports tab in the top menu bar

  • Select Exporter from the dropdown

  • Select the Scan Summary report

  • Search for your page name if desired, and select the page from the dropdown

  • Click the Download button

  • Select the Tickets Report

  • Search for your page name(s) and select the page(s), or simply select the page(s) if you can see them

  • If desired, use the Ticket Level field to only include specific ticket levels in your report. By default, the Tickets Report includes all ticket levels.

  • If your page is set up as a date-based event or uses an event series template, the Event Selection field allows you to filter your report to include only specific dates or events. By default, the Tickets report includes all dates or events

For example, if your date-based event offers tickets for every date in July, but attendees have only purchased tickets for July 1 and July 15, only July 1 and July 15 will appear in the Event Selection field. If the attendee later purchases a ticket for July 22, that date will then be added as an option in the Event Selection field.
