Connect a Printer to the Box Office App

Print receipts and tickets from the box office app using a Star Micronics TSP 100 Bluetooth printer

Here is how you can sell tickets onsite through the Box Office app and print them using a StarMicronics TSP 100 printer.

Once connected, a receipt with a scannable QR code with sales information will be printed. Each purchased ticket will have a QR code that can be scanned by the TicketSpice scanning app.

Connect Your Printer to the Box Office App

Here is what you'll need to get started:

  • A fully charged iPad

  • Your StarMicronics printer

  • A reliable wifi connection

First, plug your printer into power. Hold down the Feed button and then the Power button until it begins printing.

You'll want to save the second strip on the sheet that is printed. This strip will include the device name

Once you know the device name, you can set the printer aside and pick up the iPad and tap the Settings icon

Tap Bluetooth

Look for the device name and tap it to connect

Next, open the Box Office app and tap the three lines in the upper left corner

Select Settings

Locate the printer's device name and tap it to connect


That is it! You are now connected and ready to start selling and printing tickets onsite! πŸ™Œ
