Creating a Reminder Email allows you to send an email to all your attendees leading up to the event. This email can include a custom message with any additional information you may want to provide along with their confirmation details. You can set the date and time you'd like for this email to send, which allows confirmations to be at the top of your attendee's inboxes for easy access when arriving to your event.
Reminder Email Pricing

Review and Schedule the Reminder Email
The process for reviewing and scheduling a reminder email varies slightly depending on whether you're using a Standard page, Reserved Seating, or a Date-Based page. Here's how to review and schedule reminder emails for different page types.
Pro Tip: Reminder emails automatically add the attendee's order information and ticket information at the bottom of the reminder email.
Note: If your ticket levels do not require an email for each attendee, our system will send the reminder email to the billing email entered on the order.
If your ticket levels require an email for each attendee, our system will send a reminder email to each ticket holder with their individual ticket. The system will also send an email to the billing email entered on the order with all of the tickets.

Add a Recipient's First Name, Last Name, or Full Name to the Email
You can personalize your reminder emails by dynamically inserting a recipient’s first name, last name, or full name using email variables. This allows each email to feel more direct and engaging. TicketSpice also gives you the option to add custom fallback text in case a recipient does not have a name associated with their email. This ensures your message reads naturally for all recipients.
When writing your email, click the {·} icon located to the right of the subject line or in the message field's menu bar
Select the variable you want to add to your email. You can add the first name, last name, or full name to the email
Add fallback (default) text that will appear if the recipient does not have a name associated with their email. To do this, enter the text you want to appear inside the quotation marks in the
default: "there"field. If left unmodified, the text "there" will be inserted when a recipient does not have a name on file
Pro Tip: When scheduling your Reminder Email, you can use the Variable Preview options to see how your message will appear. This feature can be used to preview how your email will look when a name variable is added.
Click Raw to preview how the underlying email content appears. This view shows the raw text for the variable and does not reflect how the email will look to recipients
Click Sample to preview how the email appears when a contact has a name. If your message includes a variable, this option inserts a sample name into the email
Click Fallback to preview how the email appears when no name is available. This option shows the default text you added for the variable
Note: In TicketSpice, each unique email address creates a single contact record. The first name entered for that email address when purchasing tickets (either on a ticket or in the billing information) is saved to the contact record. If a different name is entered later using the same email address, the original saved name is retained.
The Name Variable displays the name saved to the recipient's contact record, not necessarily the name entered on the specific order or ticket. If no name is saved for the contact, the variable will be blank and your fallback text will appear instead.
