Archiving a Page

Archiving a page will free up the URL associated with it so another TicketSpice page can use that URL. This is common if a new ticketing page is created for each new event so it can start fresh with new data, but still maintain the same URL year after year.

Archiving a page will immediately disable the page and stop it from accepting new orders. It won't impact the associated data, but it will prevent the data from being able to be exported. Any final payments will still run and orders linked to the page can still be refunded and upcharged. Tickets associated with the page will still be able to be scanned too.

Restoring an Archived Page

Archived pages can be restored. Once an archived page is restored, its data can be exported once again. The page would need to be saved and republished in order for the URL to work.

Deleting a Page

Deleting a page will cause it to permanently lose all of the associated data and tickets won't be able to be scanned. A delete page and its data cannot be restored. Use with caution.

How to Archive a Page

From the Pages screen, click the 3 dots on the page you'd like to archive or delete

Select Move to Archive

Note: Archiving a page will immediately disable the page. No new orders will be accepted.

Click the Move to Archive button

Restore an Archived Page

From the Pages screen, click View Folders

Select the Archived folder

Click the three dots on the page you'd like to Restore

Select Restore

If you go back to All Pages....

You will notice your Archive page has been restored

NOTE: When you go to Save and Republish this restored page, if another page has taken over the original URL, you'll receive a "Another form is already using this publish path" error as shown below. To fix this, you'll want to click to the Settings tab of your page -> Click Basic Setup and edit the URL so it is unique. Then you should be able to Save and Publish successfully.

Delete a Page

Once the page has been Archived, navigate to the Archived folder and click the three dots on the page you'd like to Delete

If you are ready and agree to lose the associated data, choose Delete

Warning: Deleting the page will remove all data from reports and disable any other features associated with the page (reporting, exporting, deposits, and check-in app). This cannot be undone. All associated data and tickets will be deleted and unable to be restored. Use with caution.

Agree to the terms and click Delete Page
