In TicketSpice, you can add tables to your venue for events where attendees sit together around a table, such as banquets or galas. You can add round or rectangular tables to your venue.
Warning: The venue builder on a Reserved Seating page has a 15 minute inactivity timeout. To avoid losing progress, users must save their changes at least every 15 minutes if they are not actively editing. If changes are not saved within this timeframe, the system will not retain any updates.

Add a Table
Note: To add a seated section, you must first open your Reserved Seating venue. Click here to learn how to access and edit your venue.
On your Reserved Seating venue, click the green + icon in the top right corner
Select Table
Select your table shape
Round Table: Select the Round option and enter the number of seats you'd like at the table. You can add up to 16 seats per round table
Rectangular Table: Select the Rectangular option and enter the number of seats you'd like on each side. You can add up to 16 seats on each side of a rectangular table, for a maximum of 64 seats total
Add a unique name for your table
Click Add Table
Click and drag the table to reposition it in the venue layout
Click the green Save button in the upper-right corner to save your venue
Note: Section names must be unique. If you try to use a name that's already assigned to another section, you'll see the error: 'This section name already exists. Please choose a unique name.'
Customize Your Table
In TicketSpice, you can easily edit and customize the general settings for your entire table. If you'd like to renumber or edit individual seats within your table, click here to learn how.

Click the pencil icon that appears under your table
Edit your details
Click OK to save your changes
Click the green Save button in the upper-right corner to save your venue
Available Settings
Section Name: The name of your section
Seats/Seat Distribution: The total number of seats (round table), or the number of seats on each side of your table (rectangular table)
Horizontal Spacing (Rectangular Table Only): The amount of space between seats along the width of your table
Vertical Spacing (Rectangular Table Only): The amount of space between seats along the length of your table
Rotation (Rectangular Table Only): The rotation of your rectangular table
Purchase Options: The number of seat(s) an attendee can purchase
Single Seat: This option allows attendees to select a single seat in a table
Entire Table: This option requires attendees to purchase the entire table
Seat Views: Add an image of the stage from this section to show attendees a seat view
Click the "green arrow" icon to upload at least one image
Select your image(s)
Click the photo to preview the image and drag photos to reorder them
Edit and Delete Seats at Your Table
In TicketSpice, you can quickly renumber, edit, and delete seats within your table. If you'd like to edit the settings for the table as a whole, click here to learn how.
Pro Tip: When editing your table, you can select multiple seats or rows at once by clicking the first seat or row, holding the Shift key, and clicking the last seat in the group.
To select individual seats without losing your previous selections, hold the Commend (Mac) or Control (Windows) key while clicking each seat.

Pro Tip: The option to re-number a seat will only be available if you select the Single Seat purchase option. When the Entire Seat option is used, the option to re-number seats is not available.
Click your table
Click the pencil icon that appears under your table
Select the seat you want to re-number
Enter the new seat number
Click Save
Click OK to save your changes
Click the green Save button in the upper-right corner to save your venue
Mark a Seat as Accessible or Obstructed
In TicketSpice, you can mark a seat as accessible or obstructed to provide clear information to your attendees. Accessible seats display the international symbol of access, while obstructed seats show a caution sign to indicate limited visibility or other restrictions.
Click your table
Click the pencil icon that appears under your table
Select the seat(s) you want to edit
Select the Accessible seat type to mark the seat(s) as accessible. Select the Obstructed seat type to mark the seat(s) as obstructed
Click Save
Click OK to save your changes
Click the green Save button in the upper-right corner to save your venue
Pro Tip: If you need to remove the seat type, click Clear Seat Type.
Lock, Copy, and Delete Your Table
Click your table
Select your desired option
Lock icon: Lock the position and size of your field, so you cannot drag or resize the field accidentally
Trash Can icon: Delete your table
Copy icon: Duplicate your table
Click Save to save your changes
Click the green Save button in the upper-right corner to save your venue

Can a ticket buyer purchase an entire table?
Can a ticket buyer purchase an entire table?
Yes. If you use the Entire Table setting, ticket buyers are required to purchase the entire table. If you use the Single Seat option, ticket buyers can select each seat within the table to purchase the entire table.
Can I manually resize my tables?
Can I manually resize my tables?
No, you cannot manually resize a table. A table size is automated based on the amount of seats in the table.
Is there a limit to the number of tables I can add to my venue?
