Make the most of your TicketSpice event page by offering more than just tickets! Whether you want to sell merchandise, provide VIP upgrades, offer exclusive experiences, or add any other custom products, TicketSpice makes it easy to enhance your attendees' experience and increase your revenue.

In this guide, we'll walk you through how to add add-ons, upgrades, and products directly to your event page. Plus, if you’re looking to sell merchandise without requiring a ticket purchase, we’ll show you how to create a merchandise-only page. Let’s get started!

Jump to...

Getting Started

  • From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you'd like to add merchandise to

  • Hover your mouse over the location where you'd like to add the merchandise field

  • Click the + icon to add a new field

  • Select the Merchandise field

Customize Your Merchandise Field

  • Customize the Label of your merchandise field

  • Set whether you would like the merchandise field to be required

  • Either click the Add Product button or edit the merchandise items added by default

  • Add the Product Name (ie Booklet, T-shirt, etc)

  • Give a description of the item if applicable

  • Add an image of the item - either select an uploaded image, or upload a new one

  • Set the price

  • Set the inventory available if there is a limited supply

  • Click the trash can icon to delete other merchandise options as desired, or the Add Product button to add additional options

  • If your merchandise item offers various sizes, colors, or options, click the + Add Variant button

  • Add a Variant Name for each option (size, color, etc)

  • Set a price and inventory for each option

  • When your merchandise field is customized, click Done

  • Click Save Now in the upper-right corner of your page to save your changes. Click Publish to publish these changes to your live page

Advanced Settings

To get to advanced settings, scroll to the bottom of your merchandise field and click Advanced Options. Under this field, there are a handful of options:

  • Limited Selections - This can be used if you'd like to limit how many merchandise items an attendee can select. For example, if you only allow a selection of 1, an attendee will not be able to add additional merchandise once they select one item

  • Show Remaining Supply - If this is turned on, attendees will see how many merchandise items are remaining per product if there is a limited supply

  • Enable Tax Deductible Values - When enabled, you can assign a tax-deductible value to each product as needed. This amount will appear on attendees' confirmations, and a year-end tax-deductible statement can be sent reflecting this value

  • Show Description on Confirmation - If this option is toggled on, attendees will see the description that is included with the products on their confirmation

  • Hide images - If enabled, the show image option will automatically turn off, removing any images and/or the placeholder image

Create a Merchandise Only Page

Setting up a Merchandise-Only page allows individuals to purchase event merchandise without buying a paid ticket for your event. With a Merchandise Only page, you can set up a page with a $0 ticket option, which attendees can select and then add their desired merchandise.

Pro Tip: When you create a merchandise-only page, each order is charged $0.99 per ticket.

  • Expand one of the ticket levels

  • In the Name field, add the name Merchandise Ticket, or another name that you would prefer

  • Add a description you would like, or delete the description

  • In the Online Price field, set the price of the ticket to $0

  • Delete any fees

  • Set the Selection field to 1 to limit attendees to one ticket, preventing additional TicketSpice fees
