Offering tables as a ticketing option in TicketSpice is a great way to streamline group sales while ensuring accurate inventory tracking. In this article, you can learn how to sell an entire table (e.g., a table of 10) for a set price, requiring attendees to purchase the full table instead of individual seats. Once purchased, attendees will receive separate tickets for each seat at the table, making it easy to share them with their guests. Plus, if you have limited inventory, the system will automatically deduct the correct number of seats, helping you manage availability seamlessly.

This guide will walk you through setting up a table purchase option in TicketSpice so you can maximize ticket sales while keeping your event organized.

Create a Table

  • From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you want to edit

  • Scroll to the ticket block and click Edit Ticket Information

  • Expand your ticket level that is sold as a table

  • In the Name field, include the price of the table

  • In the Online Price field, set the price of every ticket in the table (don't worry β€” we'll hide this later)

  • In the Selection field, set to number of seats in your table (in this example, we are adding a table of 10)

  • Expand your other ticket levels, and include the price of every ticket in the Name field (this will become important later)

  • Scroll to the bottom of the ticket level, and click Advanced Options to expand this field

  • Select the Hide Price option

  • Click Done

  • Click Save Now in the upper-right corner of your page to save your changes. Click Publish to publish these changes to your live page

Pro Tip: Even if you hide the price of your ticket levels, you can charge a fee if you would like and display this fee on the live page.

Registrant Experience

On your live event page, attendees will see a single price for the table and will only have the option to purchase the entire table.

When attendees purchase a table with this set-up, they will receive unique tickets for each seat. If your event has limited inventory, TicketSpice will automatically deduct the correct number of seats from your available inventory.
