With TicketSpice, you have full control over how your event looks when it's shared online—whether it's a Facebook post, a tweet, or a link in a group chat. In this guide, we'll walk you through updating the social media content and SEO settings, adding like and comment buttons directly on your ticketing page, and enabling a share option on the confirmation page so ticket buyers can easily promote your event with a single click. • From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page for which you'd like to add or update social media content

  • Hover your mouse over the Promote tab in the top menu bar, and select Social and SEO from the dropdown

    • Title: the title that appears on the social media post

    • Share Custom URL: when this is turned on, the social media page will display a custom URL that you enter on Facebook, but still direct to your TicketSpice page

    • Upload Image: the image that appears on the social media post

  • Click Save Changes

  • Click Publish to publish your changes to the live page

💡Tip: For the social image, we recommend uploading a 400 X 300 pixel or larger .png or .jpg

FAQs

Why is my page still showing the old content and image on Facebook even after updating the social media content?

Facebook and other platforms often cache (store) shared content to improve performance. This means they may still show outdated information even after you've made updates. To fix this, you can use a refresh or debug tool to prompt Facebook to pull in the latest version of your content. First be sure to close out of any Facebook tabs in your browser. Then, click here to learn how to use this tool.

What are your recommended dimensions for images for my social media content and SEO settings?

We recommend using images that are 1200 × 630 pixels for social media and SEO content.
