With TicketSpice, you have full control over how your event looks when it's shared online—whether it's a Facebook post, a tweet, or a link in a group chat. In this guide, we'll walk you through updating the social media content and SEO settings, adding like and comment buttons directly on your ticketing page, and enabling a share option on the confirmation page so ticket buyers can easily promote your event with a single click. Add or Update Social Media Post Content
You can customize the title, description, and image that appear when your event page is shared on social media. This helps ensure your event looks polished, on-brand, and engaging wherever it's posted.
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page for which you'd like to add or update social media content
Hover your mouse over the Promote tab in the top menu bar, and select Social and SEO from the dropdown
Scroll to the Social Media Post section
Edit the Desired Information
Title: the title that appears on the social media post
Description: the language that appears under the title
Share Custom URL: when this is turned on, the social media page will display a custom URL that you enter on Facebook, but still direct to your TicketSpice page
Upload Image: the image that appears on the social media post
Click Save Changes
Click Publish to publish your changes to the live page
💡Tip: For the social image, we recommend uploading a 400 X 300 pixel or larger .png or .jpg
Add or Update SEO Settings
Optimizing your SEO settings helps your ticketing page appear more prominently in search engine results. You can customize the page title and meta description to better reflect your event and attract more clicks.
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page for which you'd like to edit
Hover your mouse over the Promote tab in the top menu bar, and select Social and SEO from the dropdown
Scroll to the SEO Title & Description section
Edit the Desired Information
Title: the title that appears on the social media post
Meta Description: the meta-description that appears under the title
Click Save Changes
Click Publish to publish your changes to the live page
Add a Facebook Like Button or Comment Box
You can easily add a Facebook Like button or comment box to your ticketing page in the Page Builder. To keep things tidy, you can also set a maximum number of visible comments.
From the Pages screen, click the pencil icon on the page you'd like to edit
Hover your mouse over your TicketSpice page, and click the green + icon
Select Facebook Plugin
Choose to add either Like Button or Comments
If you choose the Comments plugin, you can also set the max number of comments that can display on your page so the plugin doesn't take up too much space
Click Done
Click Save Now in the upper-right corner of your page to save your changes. Click Publish to publish these changes to your live page
Add a Social Share Option to Your Confirmation Page
After a ticket buyer completes their order, you can display a pop-up asking them to share your event on social media. You can customize the title, message, and the share buttons to match your event’s voice and branding.
From the Pages tab on the top main menu, click the pencil icon under the page you would like to edit
Click the Confirmation Page tab from the top menu bar
Select the Show Pop-Up checkbox
Click the Edit Pop-up dropdown
Select Share and Like Buttons
Add your custom title and message
Click Save Now in the upper-right corner of your page to save your changes. Click Publish to publish these changes to your live page

Facebook and other platforms often cache (store) shared content to improve performance. This means they may still show outdated information even after you've made updates. To fix this, you can use a refresh or debug tool to prompt Facebook to pull in the latest version of your content. First be sure to close out of any Facebook tabs in your browser.
